Description:
Information System Security Officer (ISSO) CWS seeks an Information System Security Officer (ISSO) to ensure information systems compliance for the U.S. Customs and Border Protection's (CBP) Network Operations Center (NOC) contract. The Information System Security Officer (ISSO) ensures information systems compliance with CBP, DHS, and FISMA requirements for all
NOC/WNOC
environments. Duties & Responsibilities Maintain system authorization packages and manage POA&Ms. Conduct vulnerability scanning and review Nessus findings. Support RMF activities and
DHS 4300A
compliance. Coordinate with the ISSM and security teams for incident response. Prepare FISMA, ISVM, and audit documentation. Required Qualifications 5-10 years of experience in information assurance or cybersecurity. Knowledge of NIST SP 800-53 and
DHS 4300A.
Security+ or CISSP certification. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field.
CBP/DHS ISSO
experience. Place of Performance Springfield and Ashburn, VA (with possible travel to Orlando, FL, and other CBP facilities). Clearance Must have favorably passed a full five (5) year background investigation (BI) required by CBP policies and procedures for employment prior to beginning work with CBP.
