Active TS/SCI with CI Polygraph Required Position Overview We are seeking a Senior Cyber Security Engineer with expertise in network security, access control technologies, and Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE) to support a highly secure enterprise environment. This position plays a critical role in protecting enterprise infrastructure by implementing and maintaining advanced network access controls, security policies, and cybersecurity solutions. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in network security engineering, Cisco technologies, cybersecurity operations, and enterprise security architecture. Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain enterprise network security solutions.
- Configure, administer, and optimize Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE) environments.
- Support Network Access Control (NAC) initiatives and policy enforcement.
- Analyze network traffic and security events to identify threats and vulnerabilities.
- Perform vulnerability assessments and security analysis using industry-standard tools.
- Support cybersecurity compliance requirements and security engineering initiatives.
- Collaborate with infrastructure, networking, and cybersecurity teams to implement secure solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex network security and access control issues.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and operational procedures.
- Support continuous monitoring, incident response, and security operations activities. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of cybersecurity or network security engineering experience (or additional relevant experience in lieu of degree).
- Hands-on experience administering and supporting Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE).
- Experience with Network Access Control (NAC) technologies and 802.1X authentication.
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP networking, routing, switching, and network security principles.
- Experience with firewalls, intrusion prevention systems (IPS), and enterprise security technologies.
- Experience performing vulnerability assessments and security analysis.
- Familiarity with Linux and Windows operating systems.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (Security+ or equivalent) or ability to obtain within six months. Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting Comply-to-Connect (C2C) initiatives.
- Experience with Cisco networking technologies and enterprise architecture.
- Experience with Nessus, Nmap, and vulnerability management programs.
- Knowledge of Zero Trust principles and network segmentation strategies.
- Experience supporting classified environments.
- Cisco certifications (CCNA, CCNP, or related certifications).
