- Cyber Engineering Senior Consultant EY's Government and Public Sector (GPS) practice is a robust and emerging practice with tremendous potential for growth
- and we are prepared to tap into that potential.
Your responsibilities will include:
Leading the design and execution of cybersecurity deliverables Proactively participating in client sessions and potentially leading workstreams Assisting in identifying service opportunities and contributing to RFPs Monitoring project statuses, resource plans, and budgets Skills and attributes for success To thrive in this role, you will need a strong foundation in both technical and business skills, with the ability to drive outcomes and communicate effectively with clients. Your success will be built upon: A deep understanding of cybersecurity and privacy principles Proficiency in system administration and threat hunting Strategic problem-solving and critical thinking abilities To qualify for the role, you must have Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Engineering, or a related field At least 3 years of relevant professional experience in cybersecurity engineering gained in the government and public sector Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret-level clearance or higher Experience in project and change management Demonstrated characteristics of a forward thinker and self-motivator who thrives on new challenges and adapts to learning new knowledge Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Strong presentation and communication skills Able to work collaboratively in a team environment Comfortable working in-person as needed Ideally, you'll also have A proven track record of delivering high-quality cybersecurity solutions The ability to mentor and guide junior team members A commitment to continuous professional development Prior consulting experience or experience working on technical projects What we look for We're looking for top performers with a passion for cybersecurity and a dedication to excellence.
