20 days of vacation per year, accruing at a rate of 6.15 hours per pay period for the first five years of employment

13 paid days per year Minimum qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience. 10 years of experience in data analytics, Trust and Safety, policy, cybersecurity, business strategy, or a related field. 6 years of experience in direct product management of developer focused products, tools or technology.
Preferred qualifications:
Master's degree or PhD. Experience in Trust and Safety, cybersecurity, or content moderation, specifically focused on identifying and mitigating platform abuse. Experience executing and landing complex, multi-year projects that require coordination across multiple global regions. Expertise in leveraging AI/ML technologies to solve complex, real-world problems, particularly in automating safety reviews or detection. Ability to use data-driven insights (e.g., SQL, dashboards) to influence product decisions and measure the effectiveness of safety frameworks. Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills with attention to detail in an ever-changing environment. About the job Trust & Safety team members are tasked with identifying and taking on the biggest problems that challenge the safety and integrity of our products. They use technical know-how, excellent problem-solving skills, user insights, and proactive communication to protect users and our partners from abuse across Google products like Search, Maps, Gmail, and Google Ads. On this team, you're a big-picture thinker and strategic team-player with a passion for doing what's right. You work globally and cross-functionally with Google engineers and product managers to identify and fight abuse and fraud cases at Google speed - with urgency. As a Product Safety Launch Manager, you will shape the safety standards of new extensibility experiences in Chrome. You will function as the primary safety architect for new launches, bridging the gap between product goal and technical risk mitigation. You will collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, Policy, and Operations team to design offerings safely and provide Chrome users with secure new experiences. You will ensure that new Chrome customization primitives and features provide a trusted experience by building safety by design into the product lifecycle and making AI a foundational part of the user protection systems and protocols. You will combine a safety-first mindset with expert project management to minimize downstream abuse and coordinate with security and abuse analysts to build Trust and Safety (T&S) strategy for every new launch. Responsibilities Understand the product roadmap and user journeys to work with security experts in providing safety requirements, milestones, and long-term protection strategies. Conduct proactive red teaming or pre-mortem sessions to identify potential harm vectors and help ideate safety-by-design solutions that prevent abuse before it occurs. Identify, collect, and prioritize requirements to secure experiences by design and build protection mechanisms for potential downstream abuse. Act as the central node between Engineering, Legal, and Policy teams to resolve conflicting priorities between product velocity and user safety. Monitor launch results, track performance against key safety metrics, identify insights, and implement improvement strategies until the product reaches a stabilized state.
