Job Description

External Relationships:
Build and sustain strategic partnerships with industry, civil society, and government stakeholders, with a focus on advancing AI cybersecurity priorities and aligning external engagement with CPD-wide objectives
Strategy & Programme Management:
Lead cybersecurity policy initiatives across the CPD team, driving integrated strategies and supporting senior-level engagement and campaigns
Internal Collaboration:
Champion priorities across government affairs teams, fostering cross-team alignment and partnerships, while operating with a collaborative, empathetic, and inclusive leadership approach Bachelor's Degree in Public Policy, Public Administration, Political Science, Business Administration, Technology, Law, Liberal Arts, Engineering, or related field AND 6+ years work experience in government affairs, corporate affairs, public policy, government, or related area OR equivalent experience. 5+ years experience in developing and managing strategic relationships to advocate and influence public, regulatory, and technology policy priorities. 5+ years experience influencing, developing, or supporting public policy or political campaigns. A collaborative and team-first mindset and a desire to learn and grow. A demonstrated ability to advance complex technical and policy concepts with diverse stakeholders at various levels. Demonstrated ability to drive campaigns to address complex challenges, individually and as part of a wider, matrixed team. The ability to forecast the impact of technology on policy. This includes knowledge and awareness of technology concepts, evolution, innovation, and internal and external technological advancements and trends.
