Senior Data Engineer Introduction:

The Senior Data Engineer will be responsible for analyzing financial data processing workflows and translating business requirements into scalable technical data solutions. They will work closely with engineering, finance, and source system teams to design data architecture that supports accounting, reporting, and analytical workloads.

Responsibilities:

Perform detailed source-to-target data mapping, gap analysis, and implement transformation logic for credit card and financial data products. Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines and data integration processes supporting enterprise reporting and analytics. Define processing specifications including data volumes, performance, scalability, and security requirements for distributed data platforms. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to architect data acquisition, enrichment, provisioning, and reporting frameworks for structured and semi-structured datasets. Develop, test, and deploy data engineering solutions ensuring data integrity, completeness, and accuracy across large-scale environments. Implement automated data validation, reconciliation, and quality control mechanisms aligned with enterprise data governance standards. Lead system integration testing, performance optimization, and pre-production validation of data processing solutions. Design and implement data security controls, monitoring processes, and operational safeguards within production data platforms. Troubleshoot complex data anomalies, perform root cause analysis, and resolve production data issues in high-volume environments.
