Role summary:
The Senior Data Engineer will lead the design, development, and implementation of scalable data solutions that support business objectives and data-driven decision-making. Members collaborate to build scalable data pipelines, integrate various data sources, and ensure data quality and governance. By leveraging advanced data engineering and modeling techniques, the team supports innovative solutions that enhance operational efficiency and customer experience. What you'll do: Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and architectures to support business analytics and operational needs. Integrate and transform data from internal and external sources using ETL, streaming, and batch processing techniques. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into effective data solutions and models. Ensure data quality, governance, and compliance with established standards and policies. Develop and optimize data models, including logical and physical designs for data warehouses and marts. Write, test, and deploy efficient code using SQL and other programming languages to support data workflows. Monitor and troubleshoot data systems to maintain reliability and performance. Support ML/AI Platforms to enable Decision Intelligence. What you'll bring: Extensive experience in data engineering, including data integration, transformation, and modeling within cloud and big data environments. Proficiency in SQL and other programming languages such as Python or Java for code development and testing. Strong knowledge of data governance principles, data quality standards, and regulatory compliance. Ability to design and implement scalable data pipelines and data warehouse solutions using modern platforms like Snowflake or Azure. Expertise in applying data strategy to solve complex business problems and deliver actionable insights. Experience collaborating cross-functionally to align data solutions with business objectives.
