We are looking for a Data Engineer in San Diego, California.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Create and maintain an optimal data pipeline architecture Assemble large, complex data sets, automate manual processes, redesign infrastructure and data handling processes for greater scalability Design and implement optimal extract, transform, and load processes Establish and maintain a highly organized meta-data structure that permits joining and analyzing disparate data sets of different types including transactional, text, as well as image and sensor-based data Build analytic tools to monitor and provide decision support for optimal storage, access, and data flow strategies Work with analytics product and service teams to identify new data stream requirements to support analysis and machine learning products

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in related field and 3+ years of experience Advanced working knowledge of SQL, Python and/or R as well as experience with cloud-based big data management tools for both structured and unstructured data Active Secret Clearance - Required This contractor and subcontractor shall abide by the requirements of 41 CFR §§ 60-1.4(a), 60-300.5(a) and 60-741.5(a).
