You will work in cross-functional agile teams alongside data scientists, machine learning engineers, product managers, and industry experts to innovate with clients and consulting teams, developing new or enhancing existing assets. You will leverage cutting-edge technologies, collaborate with diverse experts, and grow as both a technologist and leader within McKinsey's entrepreneurial culture. In this role, you will design and build robust, modular, scalable, and secure data pipelines for machine learning that are deployable, reproducible, and versioned. You will prepare and manage data environments, ensuring they meet the highest information security standards, while enabling software capabilities for data engineers, data scientists, consulting teams, and external clients. Your work will contribute to the development of core data frameworks and technical platforms that power advanced analytics engagements across data science and engineering. Your work will have a real-world impact, driving meaningful outcomes for clients across industries. You will build and maintain technology assets that support high-stakes projects, collaborating with world-class design, technical, and business talent. YOUR QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
Bachelor's degree in relevant field, or equivalent experience, 1-3 years of relevant work experience Proven experience building data pipelines in production for advanced analytics use cases Experience working across structured, semi-structured and unstructured data Exposure to software engineering concepts and best practices, inc. DevOps, DataOps and MLOps would be considered a plus Familiarity with distributed computing frameworks, cloud platforms, containerization, and analytics libraries. Excellent organizational capabilities, including the ability to initiate tasks independently and see them through to completion Proficient in rational decision making based on data, facts, and logical reasoning Ability to create work product-focused materials / outputs, which may include PowerPoint decks, Excel models, articles, or other written deliverables Exceptional time management to meet your responsibilities in a complex and largely autonomous work environment Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, in English and local office language(s), with the ability to adjust your style to suit different perspectives and seniority levels Please review the additional requirements regarding essential job functions of McKinsey colleagues.
