USD Hourly Description:
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Business Operations Program Manager to support the Advanced Operations Engineering (AOE) organization. In this role, you will act as a central operational hub, driving program execution, financial planning, and resource management. You will partner closely with engineering, operations, and finance teams to ensure alignment, optimize resource utilization, and deliver actionable insights through data and reporting. The ideal candidate combines strong business acumen, analytical rigor, and exceptional communication skills to translate complex operational data into clear, actionable outcomes. Responsibilities Program Management & Intake Design and implement structured intake frameworks and questionnaires tailored to AOE teams. Partner with engineering managers to define program scope, resource requirements, and operational impact. Track and manage incoming program requests, ensuring timely evaluation and prioritization. Provide weekly updates to stakeholders on program status, risks, and dependencies. Resource Planning & Data Management Manage bi-weekly resource review cycles and reports, including: Resource allocation deviations Pending resource requests Misaligned or uncommitted allocations Partner with stakeholders to resolve data discrepancies and ensure reporting accuracy. Develop and maintain real-time headcount dashboards to track staffing and capacity. Deliver weekly insights on hiring progress, resource gaps, and potential risks. Improve cross-functional alignment by integrating resource planning tools across AOE and Production Operations teams. Contract & Vendor Operations Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of Temporary Vendor/Contractor (TVC) engagements, including onboarding and offboarding. Ensure compliance with internal policies and smooth operational transitions. Track legal contract reviews and approvals, ensuring timely progress. Maintain leadership sign-off trackers to prevent delays and ensure accountability. Build dashboards providing visibility into vendor workforce allocation and responsibilities. Financial Planning & Analysis Drive the annual budget planning process for AOE, partnering with team leads to forecast financial needs. Consolidate and present budget proposals for executive review. Monitor actual spend against budget and deliver monthly variance analysis with actionable recommendations. Support procurement processes by coordinating with finance and BizOps teams to track and fulfill requests. Build and maintain financial models to support forecasting, scenario planning, and decision-making (e.g., headcount changes, project investments). Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience. Experience in program management, business operations, or financial planning. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proficiency in data tools (e.g., Excel, dashboards, reporting systems). Experience managing cross-functional stakeholders and driving operational processes. Preferred Qualifications Experience in engineering or technical operations environments. Familiarity with resource planning and workforce management tools. Experience with financial forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis. Ability to translate complex data into clear insights for leadership. Excellent communication skills with strong attention to detail.
