Job Description

14694 - Databricks Data Engineer (onsite) -
Juno Beach, FL Start Date:

Temporary Project Estimated Duration:
12 months with possible extensions
Work Setting:
100% of the time at the Client's site. No telecommuting or remote work. This is a non-negotiable requirement from the client. Only candidates able to relocate as required should apply to avoid removal from future consideration.
Required:
  • Availability to work 100% of the time at the Client's site in Juno Beach, FL;
  • Experience in data engineering, analytics, or a related technical role (0-3 years);
  • Experience with Databricks (notebooks, workflows, Delta Lake);
  • Experience with Python and SQL for data manipulation and pipeline development;
  • Experience with Power BI (DAX, Power Query);
  • Experience with ETL/ELT pipeline development;
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
Preferred:
  • Experience with Microsoft Fabric.
Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Databricks and Microsoft Fabric;
  • Build and optimize data models, datasets, and dataflows to support reporting and analytics needs;
  • Develop and publish Power BI dashboards and reports that translate complex data into actionable insights for business stakeholders;
  • Write clean, efficient Python and SQL code for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL/ELT);
  • Collaborate directly with business teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions in a Kanban-based agile framework;
  • Ensure data quality, accuracy, and consistency across pipelines and reports;
  • Participate in sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospectives to maintain high-velocity delivery. Why apply?
