Job Description

We are seeking a Senior ETL Engineer with strong healthcare domain experience to design, build, and maintain large-scale data pipelines on AWS. This role focuses on processing healthcare claims data and ensuring secure, reliable, and high-quality data delivery for analytics and reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop ETL/ELT pipelines using AWS Glue, PySpark, and SQL Process and validate healthcare claims data (EDI 837, 835, 270/271, 276/277) Build and optimize data models in Amazon Redshift, Athena, and S3 Orchestrate workflows using Airflow (MWAA) and related AWS services Ensure data quality, governance, and HIPAA compliance Collaborate with analytics, product, and compliance teams
Required Skills & Experience:
Strong experience in ETL/data engineering and SQL Hands-on experience with AWS (Glue, Redshift, Athena, S3) Healthcare data experience, especially claims and EDI transactions Proficiency in Python/PySpark Knowledge of HIPAA and healthcare data standards Nice to
Have:
dbt, Iceberg, or streaming tools (Kinesis/Kafka) AWS certification
HL7/FHIR
experience
