Data Engineer

Job Description

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Azure Data Factory and Informatica to support batch and near-real‑time data integration from multiple source systems.
• Develop and optimize ETL/ELT processes across Azure Data Lake, Azure SQL, Synapse, and Databricks, ensuring high performance, data quality, and reliability.
• Collaborate with architects, analysts, and business stakeholders to translate data requirements into robust, production‑ready data solutions on Azure.
• Implement data governance, monitoring, error handling, and performance tuning best practices across enterprise data pipelines.
• Support CI/CD, debugging, and operational support for data workflows, with a focus on scalable, maintainable Azure‑based data solutions.

• 3-4+ years of hands-on Azure Data Factory experience (must be able to explain specific pipelines and projects)
• Strong SQL development skills
• Experience with IDMC (Informatica Cloud)
• Proven experience working directly with business partners
• Agile environment experience (standups, sprint planning, project delivery) Strong communication skills, able to clearly explain what you did, why it mattered, and the impact
• Experience with Microsoft Fabric, especially POCs Synapse Cloud experience
