Job DescriptionKey ResponsibilitiesProvide technical vision and hands-on expertise to execute platform solutions.

Cloud computing infrastructure, including scale, performance, and cost management.

Gather technical requirements, validate architecture, and create/review designs.

Coordinate efforts across the data engineering, data curation, and platform engineering teams to successful completion.

Guide engineering resources towards code standards and templates as part of data frameworks and patterns.

Demonstrate ownership of technical stacks for individual cloud applications.

Align with AbbVie systems lifecycle standards and processes.

Ability to manage time and deliver results across multiple workstreams at once.

Work with team members from around the globe (onsite, offshore).Onsite position/2days a week WFH eligible.

QualificationsEducation & Experience Must possess Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering/Applications and twelve years (12) years of IT experience. Alternatively, the Employer will accept alternation combination of education and experience: Masters' Degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Engineering/Applications and eight (8) years of IT experience.

Requires 8 years of experience in the following: Hands-on technical proficiency in Python, Apache, Spark, and SQL; AWS development with core AWS services like EC2, Glue, Spark, S3, Redshift, and Athena; Relational and non-relational databases from a data domain perspective; Building data engineering pipelines using orchestration tools like Apache Airflow and GlueETL; Developing API architecture; and Metadata management, data quality, master data, and data lineage.

Requires 3 years of experience in the following: Serving as a Technical Project Owner; and Serving as a Team Lead.
