Data Engineer 2
Location:
Peoria, IL (On-site)
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30
PM Pay Rate:
$51-$54/hr Overview We are seeking a Data Engineer 2 to support the development and maintenance of enterprise data solutions within a high-impact analytics environment. This role will focus on building data pipelines, designing reporting solutions, and enabling data-driven decision-making across the business. The ideal candidate will have experience working with SQL, data visualization tools, and modern data architectures. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards, including data modeling, visualization, and deployment Build and support backend data solutions, including SQL databases and ETL pipelines Collaborate with cross-functional business partners to gather requirements and deliver data-driven solutions Perform data validation and ensure accuracy, reliability, and consistency of reporting outputs Develop logical and physical data models aligned with business needs Document technical processes, data flows, and reporting logic Independently manage tasks and timelines while contributing to team objectives Required Qualifications 2-4 years of experience in data engineering, data analytics, or a related field Strong SQL skills with experience working in relational databases Hands-on experience with Power BI or Tableau Experience designing and supporting data pipelines using ETL tools Knowledge of data modeling concepts (logical and physical data modeling) Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Excellent communication and ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders Associate's degree in computer programming or a related field (Bachelor's preferred) Preferred Qualifications Experience with database and data warehouse platforms such as Snowflake, Azure, Oracle, DB2, or PostgreSQL Python programming experience Experience with data visualization design and user experience best practices Technical writing or documentation experience Work Environment On-site role in Peoria, IL Collaborative, team-oriented environment supporting global stakeholders Opportunity to work on high-visibility analytics systems used across a large enterprise #LI-CB1 #INDOEM
