Job Description

Required Education

The role performs complex analysis work, identifies design problems, and resolves problems. Incumbents may work directly with different units, suppliers, customers, and other teams.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Identify opportunities to solve problems in the functional area through the use of analytical models
  • Help analysts on a team design, develop, and test predictive and prescriptive analytic algorithms and tools using telematics data
  • Enhance product performance and efficiency within engine development
  • Provide customers with value-added services, recommendations, and optimized solutions for their engines, equipment, and job sites
  • Develop data mining processes and tools for engine data collection, aggregation, feature extraction, analytics modeling, and reliability or durability forecasting
  • Support engineering design, simulation, CPI, and NPI
  • Work with various other team members
  • Execute data analytics projects and present results to internal customers
  • Develop and publish dashboards
  • Make enhancements to digital tools
  • Adopt DevOps processes
  • Build Machine Learning models for engine health condition monitoring
  • Quickly research new areas of analytics techniques and algorithmic approaches needed for meeting customer requirements
