Role Summary Drive data-driven transformation across the Motor Grader and Medium Tractor value chain. This role focuses on sourcing and integrating complex data sets, translating customer and business requirements into scalable analytics solutions, and applying advanced analytics and AI to improve performance, efficiency, and decision-making. What You'll Do Lead large-scale data collection, mining, and processing efforts to develop robust data models and deliver actionable insights Analyze large, complex datasets to identify trends, inefficiencies, and cost-reduction opportunities across the value chain Develop data-driven business cases and translate insights into clear, actionable recommendations for stakeholders Apply advanced analytics, digital tools, and AI/ML models to optimize performance and efficiency Lead high-impact, data-focused initiatives aligned to global cost reduction and performance improvement goals Lead and guide team members in executing value chain cost reduction initiatives Partner cross-functionally to align data strategies, ensure adoption of analytics solutions, and drive measurable outcomes Champion data governance, data quality, and scalable analytics practices across teams What You Have (Core Skills) Bachelor's Degree in accredited
Engineering Analytical Thinking:
Knowledge of techniques and tools that promote effective analysis; ability to determine the root cause of organizational problems and create alternative solutions that resolve these problems.
Effective Communications:
Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.
Problem Solving:
Knowledge of approaches, tools, techniques for recognizing and resolving operational or process problems; ability to apply knowledge of problem solving appropriately to diverse situations.
Process Mapping/Flowcharting:
Knowledge of the concepts of process mapping; ability to carry out the documentation of current and proposed manufacturing processes to identify and make improvements.
Process Management:
Knowledge of business process improvement tools and techniques, along with basic programming concepts and capabilities; ability to understand, monitor, update, control, or enhance existing business or work processes. Top Candidates Will Also Have Hands-on experience applying AI/ML techniques to large datasets to drive efficiency, optimization, or predictive insights Experience building or leveraging AI agents or automated analytics solutions Proven success leading data-driven transformation initiatives with measurable business impact Knowledge of value chain operations and cost reduction methodologies Demonstrated collaboration across global, cross-functional teams Additional Details Work location: IL-Peoria-Building AB Office Domestic relocation assistance is available for this role Visa sponsorship is NOT available for this role.
Travel:
Up to 15% domestic and international This position requires 5 days per week in the office (M-F) This position requires working onsite five days a week. Relocation is available for this position. Visa Sponsorship is not available for this position.
Summary Pay Range:
$128,470.00
  • $192,710.
00 Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
