Job Description

Senior Data Engineer (Databricks) - Boston, MA (Local Candidates Only)

Location:

Boston, MA (Local candidates preferred) We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer with strong expertise in Databricks to design, build, and optimize scalable data pipelines and modern data platforms.

Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines using Databricks. Build and optimize large-scale data processing solutions. Work with cloud-based data platforms and data lakes. Collaborate with data analysts, data scientists, and business stakeholders. Ensure data quality, governance, and performance optimization. Support data integration from multiple enterprise systems.

Required Skills:

7+ years of Data Engineering experience. Strong hands-on experience with Databricks . Proficiency in Python, PySpark, and SQL . Experience with cloud platforms ( AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform ). Knowledge of Delta Lake, data modeling, and ETL frameworks. Experience with orchestration tools such as Airflow is a plus. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
