Working closely with engineers and cross functional partners, this role contributes to data ingestion from internal and external sources using cloud-native platforms, established engineering best practices, and proven design patterns. This position supports the design, development, and maintenance of scalable data solutions and supporting software applications based on business requirements. The work involves moderately complex to complex problem solving and requires in-depth analysis of data, systems, and variable factors. The Data Engineer ensures reliable collection, storage, processing, and analysis of large data sets while aligning solutions with enterprise architecture standards. We are seeking a talented Senior Da ta Engineer who is passionate about building innovative data solutions and contributing to pioneering work within the space technology domain. This role is well suited for a collaborative team player who thrives in a fast-paced, iterative delivery environment and is motivated by solving complex problems. The Senior Data Engineer will design, build, maintain, and optimize scalable data pipelines and data-driven solutions. This role focuses on developing systems for collecting, storing, processing, and analyzing large volumes of data while ensuring high standards of data quality, reliability, and performance. The successful candidate will evaluate and select appropriate technologies, implement and monitor data workflows, and continuously improve data platform capabilities. This position requires close collaboration with software engineering and analytics teams to integrate data solutions into shared platforms and architectures, applying strong engineering principles to support both business and analytical needs.
