Junior Azure Data Engineer

RESPONSIBILITIES

Kforce has a client in need of a Junior Azure Data Engineer in Wilmington, MA.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support LDW migration to Azure Fabric Lakehouse/Warehouse
• Write and optimize SQL for extraction, transformation, and validation
• Develop Python scripts for automation, ingestion, and data quality
• Build Fabric dataflows, pipelines, and lakehouse tables to standards
• Partner with engineers on ETL design, tuning, and optimization
• Test, review code, and maintain documentation in Confluence/Git
• Monitor data loads, troubleshoot failures, and update Zephyr/JIRA
• Stay current on Azure tools and contribute to process improvements

REQUIREMENTS

• Experience with Git/Azure DevOps, Confluence/JIRA
• Understanding of data-modeling, metadata management, and data-quality principles
• Familiarity with Agile or Scrum development environments
• Knowledge of Power BI and basic DAX concepts The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role.

We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
