All About You:
We are seeking a highly skilled Analytic Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in transforming raw data into actionable insights that drive business growth and innovation. As an Analytic Engineer, your core responsibility will be to design, build, and maintain robust analytics frameworks and tools that facilitate data-driven decision-making for both existing and new products (battery, electrodes, cells, etc.) across various departments. Your technical expertise in data engineering, along with your proficiency in analytics, will enable you to create comprehensive data models and identify trends that inform major business initiatives. Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related Engineering field. Minimum 7 years of professional technical experience. At least 2 years of experience in process engineering. Minimum of 2 years of experience in a data engineering or analytic engineering role. Proficiency in SQL and experience with database management systems. Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker. Strong analytical skills with the ability to derive insights from complex datasets. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
MUST BE A US CITIZEN OR GREEN CARD HOLDER
Preferred Skills or Experience Knowledge of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement techniques. Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt, working towards Green Belt. Highly skilled in mechanical work and knowledgeable of common pitfalls of installations.
Responsibilities:
Ensures standardized data gathering of critical process information for existing and new products. Develop technical scope and requirements for digital and software solutions. Liaise with outside software vendors for technical solutions to existing problems. Analyze the data for solutions that have been designed and implemented. Follow-up on projects completed to ensure that they meet the scope as designed. Translate business requirements into technical specifications for data solutions. Implement data quality checks and validation processes to maintain accuracy and integrity of data. Audit existing work instructions against digital implementations to suggest areas for continuous improvement. Provide training for personnel using digital solutions developed by or implemented by the team. Mentor and coaching of others in department for technical issues. Support production and shop floor personnel in the pursuit of goals for the manufacturing facility. Conduct performance tuning and optimization of existing analytics systems to improve efficiency. Collect and analyze data to identify trends and insights that support decision-making.
