What We DoThe Data Engineer is responsible for the design, development, optimization, and deployment of scalable data platforms and pipelines to support advanced analytics and enterprise data processing. This role focuses on building reliable data integration and transformation solutions that enable a robust and growing data ecosystem. The Data Engineer collaborates closely with cross-functional teams, including software developers, database architects, data analysts, and data scientists, to deliver high-quality, scalable, secure, and efficient data solutions aligned with business objectives. Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines and data processing frameworksBuild and support big data solutions using Python, PySpark, Spark SQL, and SQL, leveraging platforms such as DatabricksDevelop data integration workflows using modern ETL toolsDesign and manage graph database solutions using Neo4jDevelop and optimize database objects such as stored procedures, views, and materialized viewsImplement CI/CD pipelines for automated build, testing, deployment, and monitoringSupport DevOps and release management through version control and automation toolsWork with cloud-based data platforms in AWS and Azure environmentsAutomate workflows and improve data delivery architecture for scalability and performancePerform troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and resolve data quality issuesEnsure data accuracy and consistency through testing and validation processesParticipate in Agile SDLC processes including sprint planning, development, and deploymentCollaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver data solutionsProvide production support, including off-hours support as required Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)3-5 years of experience in Data Engineering or a related roleStrong experience with ETL pipelines and data warehouse solutionsExperience with distributed data processing and cloud analytics platformsExperience with CI/CD implementation and deployment automationExperience working with AWS and Azure cloud platforms Technical SkillsStrong programming skills in PythonHands-on experience with PySpark and Spark SQLExperience working with DatabricksProficiency in SQL and T-SQL, including performance optimizationExperience developing stored procedures, views, and materialized viewsExperience building ETL/data integration pipelinesFamiliarity with Talend (preferred)Experience working with Neo4j or graph databasesKnowledge of CI/CD and DevOps tools such as Git, Azure DevOps, or GitHub ActionsExperience with AWS and Azure cloud platforms or data servicesStrong understanding of data warehousing and big data processing concepts Additional SkillsStrong communication and collaboration skillsSelf-motivated with strong problem-solving abilitiesAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentExperience working in Agile development environmentsStrong focus on data quality, validation, and accuracy This position will be accepting applications on an ongoing basis until the position is filled
Pay Range:
$97,700.00 - $130,300.00 AnnuallyThis hiring range is a reasonable estimate of the base pay range for this position at the time of posting.
