Job Description KPMG Audit is seeking a senior, hands-on Lead Fabric Engineer to work onsite with leadership to guide the adoption of Microsoft Fabric and evolution of their data platform. Key Responsibilities Work directly with client leadership to shape and guide Fabric adoption Assess current data landscape (Data Studio, Databricks, Azure) and define practical path forward Help connect data to AI use cases (enable access to data for AI teams) Provide clear direction on what Fabric can support today vs roadmap Engage directly with Microsoft teams and drive accountability on deliverables and timelines Contribute to modernization of Data Studio architecture (modular, extensible, Fabric-aware) Required Experience Deep hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric Strong background in enterprise data architecture (Azure ecosystem) Experience working across Fabric and Databricks environments Ability to operate in ambiguous, evolving environments with limited upfront definition Experience working directly with senior stakeholders / leadership teams Key Traits (Important) Able to challenge vendors (Microsoft) and push conversations forward Strong communicator between business stakeholders and technical teams Comfortable working onsite, high-touch, collaborative environment Fabric IQ OR Databrics Genie experience is mandatory. Need to develop agents in fabric environment. So if Agent is giving wrong output, they should know where to modify the agent''s code OR prompt. Fabric Certification (DP-700) is a huge huge plus.
