The above reflects the anticipated annual salary range for this position if hired to work in New Jersey. The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills and professional experience. The Data Engineer will function as the Epic Cosmos Data Science Developer.They will be expected to:
(1) Provide subject matter expertise as it relates to Epic Cosmos; (2) Be an honest broker as it relates to Epic Cosmos Data Science; (3) Create data assets within Cosmos Data Science for approved research; and (4) provide auditable documentation for work that they produce as it relates to Epic Cosmos Data Science.Basic Qualifications Education:
Minimum:
Bachelor s degreeWork Experience:
Mid-level Experience in a data engineering, or ETL Developer, or similar role o Knowledge of SQL Query language o Data integration knowledge (SSIS or Informatica or similar ETL tools) o Knowledge of data acquisition through API/REST/JSON, NoSQL, RDBMS, o Exposure and hands-on experience of SQL, SSIS, and DBA related tasksLicenses and Certifications:
Preferred:
Professional certifications in traditional database management as well as cloud platform certificationsKey Competencies:
Mid-level Experience working with databases and data management Mid-level knowledge of SQL, relational database design, SSIS, Talend experience is a plusAdaptability/flexibility:
