Position:

The position will support the development of a cloud analytics environment within Medicaid Enterprise Systems (MES). The environment will bring together multiple large DOH sources that must be joined and made available to meet Department use cases, including support of the AHEAD model. Selected Candidate:

Day-to-day tasks include but are not limited to: 1. Work with DOH teams to modernize data cleaning and transformation processes using version control and collaborative repositories. 2. Design, build and maintain data ingestion pipelines in the Cloud 3. Partner with manager to make critical decisions about technology infrastructure and components. 4. Ensure performance, scalability, security, and maintainability in all DE projects. 5. Build automated tests and validation processes. 6. Guide development teams, mentor engineers, and provide technical direction throughout product life cycle. 7. Create high-level specifications and design documents for the team to follow. 8. Follow department level, and division level directives, best practices, standards, and methodologies, as appropriate or requested.
