6+ Months (Potential Long-Term Opportunity) We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer to support a large-scale Data Modernization initiative focused on migrating and productionizing Sales and ERP data into a scalable Microsoft Fabric and Azure-based data platform. This role will be instrumental in building reusable data ingestion frameworks, enterprise data models, and production-ready analytics solutions that support future business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and optimize scalable ETL/ELT pipelines within Microsoft Fabric and Azure environments. Build reusable ingestion frameworks for ERP and operational data sources. Develop and maintain dimensional data models for enterprise reporting and analytics. Integrate data from ERP platforms, including Oracle Fusion and legacy systems. Support Power BI modernization and migration efforts within Microsoft Fabric. Ensure performance, scalability, governance, and operational reliability of data platforms. Collaborate with architects, analysts, and business stakeholders to standardize data definitions and transformation logic.
Required Skills:
5+ years of Data Engineering experience. Strong expertise in Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Factory (ADF), SQL, and Python/PySpark. Experience with Data Lakes, Data Warehouses, ETL/ELT development, and dimensional modeling. Hands-on experience with REST/API-based integrations and CI/CD for data platforms. Strong understanding of enterprise data architecture, governance, and reporting frameworks.
Preferred Skills:
Microsoft Purview, Azure DevOps, Databricks, Snowflake, and Kafka. ERP integration experience, preferably Oracle Fusion. Knowledge of data security, RBAC, and governance best practices.
