Data Engineer - Onsite#26-05657 Miamisburg, OH Houston, TX Farmers Branch, TX Pittsburgh, PA On-site Contract Starts 6/01/2026 Ends 12/31/2026 Job Description Genesis10 is currently seeking a Data Engineer - Onsite for a contract position with a Major Financial Institution located in Pittsburgh, PA; Farmers Branch, TX; Miamisburg, OH; or Houston, TX. This is a 7+ month contract opportunity. This role is within the home lending technology group, supporting the mortgage database. The Data Engineer will develop, support, and implement data services for multiple applications, working closely with business partners to define requirements and build scalable technology solutions. The ideal candidate will possess strongmunication skills to meet with lines of business, gather requirements, and collaborate with technical teams.

Responsibilities:

Develop, support, and implement data services for multiple applications to meet business objectives Work closely with users, developers, and business partners to define data service requirements Design and build data service infrastructure on multiple data platforms Implement data migration and transformation processes to ensure accuracy and security Meet with lines of business to gather requirements and perform necessary follow-ups Engage with technical and ETL teams to provide data movement specifications Work with the operations team to deploy code changes into QA and production Perform validation on deployments and ensure all documentation is accurate

Requirements:

2-4 years of experience as a Data Engineer or in a related role Strong knowledge of database technologies including

SQL, SQL

Server, and Oracle Excellent verbal and writtenmunication skills Self-driven with the ability to ad to timelines and prioritize tasks effectively Strong organizational and problem-solving skills Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Management Systems, or a related field Must be open to converting to a full-time employee Desired skills: Tuning or debugging experience for performance optimization Experience in the finance or banking industry Pay range: $35.25 - $43.25 per hour Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
