Contract About the Role Client is seeking a Data Engineer to support its Loyalty Squad. This role will focus on building, optimizing, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and data solutions that support loyalty program analytics, customer insights, and business intelligence initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with SQL, Python, Azure, Databricks, and Spark. Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes. Build and optimize data solutions using Azure cloud technologies and Databricks. Develop data transformation workflows using PySpark and Spark. Write complex SQL queries for data extraction, analysis, and reporting. Collaborate with business stakeholders, analysts, and engineering teams to understand data requirements. Ensure data quality, integrity, and governance across multiple data sources. Troubleshoot and resolve data pipeline and performance issues. Support the Loyalty Squad by delivering reliable and efficient data solutions. Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment activities. Document data processes, workflows, and technical solutions. Required Skills 3+ years of Data Engineering experience. Strong hands-on experience with SQL and Python. Experience working with Azure cloud services. Strong experience with Databricks and Apache Spark. Experience building and supporting ETL/ELT pipelines. Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and best practices. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting customer loyalty, marketing, or customer analytics platforms. Experience with Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS), or Synapse Analytics. Experience with CI/CD and version control tools such as Git. Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments. Airline, travel, or hospitality industry experience is a plus.
