Available Help for . Dell Marketing L.P. is seeking a Consultant, Data Engineering at its Round Rock, Texas facility. May work remotely.
Duties:
Review project requirements, assess feasibility, develop proposals, share analytical insights, and document projects, while driving end-to-end customer and stakeholder engagements and alignment, including the support and sustenance of these deliverables. Implement preliminary data exploration and preparation steps for model development and validation, utilizing SQL and data management principles, including database administration, data modeling, and database design. Design and architect BI solutions and develop complex partner data integrations, applying knowledge of channel and distribution business and enterprise data warehousing. Integrate enterprise platforms (Teradata, SQL Server, and ETL systems), focusing on reporting methods to design and develop data visualization reports as well as extracting, transforming, and loading data between data sources. Lead technical and solution architecture changes, Go-to-Market initiatives, Route-to-Market and Core workstreams. Develop new methodologies and tools to enable advanced modeling and statistical analysis on petabyte-scale datasets and establish new practices for working with internal data technologies. Utilize data classification, data security, data governance, data quality, data architecture, and data APIs/microservices to explore opportunities on artificial intelligence. Perform data automation and BI analytics for worldwide distribution, North America channel, and partner operations. Provide executive escalation support for North America region/time zone.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Analytics, Data Science or related field plus ten (10) years of experience in business analysis, business intelligence or a similar occupation OR Master's degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Analytics, Data Science or related field plus eight (8) years of experience in business analysis, business intelligence or a similar occupation.
Experience must include:
tools and technologies, including Teradata, Greenplum, ETL, SQL Server, Power BI, R, Python, Bigdata, and RPA; third-party data integration design and management; defining global distribution strategy for WSI and SISO; and channel sales motions and sell-through inventory management, system, and processes.
