Data Engineer

Experteer Overview In this role, you will design and deliver modern data solutions on cloud platforms to enable scalable analytics and AI. You will partner with business, technology, and governance teams to build secure, compliant data platforms supporting global growth. You will design and optimize data processing pipelines and storage models across data warehouses, marts, and other repositories. You will mentor junior staff and coordinate with IT teams to ensure tooling, security, and monitoring are in place. This opportunity centers on shaping enterprise data capabilities that power advanced analytics in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.

Compensation / Benefits

• Design, build, and deploy data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes from multiple sources (databases, APIs, files)
• Develop and manage data storage models (data vault, dimensional) across platforms
• Collaborate with business intelligence and IT teams using Agile practices to deliver data asset solutions
• Coordinate security, monitoring, tooling, and related capabilities for assigned systems
• Provide operational support and incident management for data flows and pipelines
• Author and maintain technical documentation for processes and designs
• Coach and mentor junior data and BI personnel across the company Tasks
• 8+ years of experience delivering data-related solutions and software
• 5+ years working with relational databases and Microsoft Azure platform
• 2+ years experience with Azure Stack and familiarity with alternative cloud technologies
• 2+ years designing and developing on-premises and Azure cloud infrastructure
• 2+ years hands-on Azure cloud development with T-SQL, Azure SQL, Azure Storage, Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, Cosmos DB, GitHub, Azure DevOps, CI/CD
• Advanced knowledge of ETL/ELT tools (SSIS, Informatica, Kafka, Spark, MuleSoft or equivalent)
• Advanced knowledge of databases (Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, NoSQL)
• Advanced programming skills (Python, SQL, Scala)
• Knowledge of IT infrastructure standards and DevOps tooling
• Bachelor's degree in relevant field Key requirements
