Job Description
Experteer Overview In this role you will design and deliver scalable data solutions on cloud platforms to power analytics and AI at Fisher Investments. You will partner with business, technology, and governance teams to build secure, compliant data platforms that support global growth. You will architect and optimize data pipelines feeding data warehouses, marts, and other repositories, while coordinating security and monitoring with IT teams. This opportunity lets you influence data strategy and hands-on implementation in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Compensation / Benefits
- Elicit and refine requirements using Agile methods and deliver enterprise data assets with BI and IT teams
- Develop, configure, and manage data integration tools, databases, warehouses, and analytical systems
- Design and deploy ETL/ELT pipelines from databases, APIs, and data files
- Model data storage (e.g., data vault, dimensional) across platforms to meet business needs
- Coordinate security, monitoring, tooling, and related capabilities with responsible teams
- Provide operational support and incident management for data pipelines
- Maintain documentation for processes, procedures, and technical designs
- Coach and mentor junior data and BI staff across the company Tasks
- 8+ years of experience developing data solutions
- 5+ years with relational databases, including Microsoft Azure
- 2+ years with multiple Azure-based cloud technologies and familiarity with other clouds
- 2+ years designing and deploying Azure infrastructure and platform components
- 2+ years hands-on Azure data tooling (T-SQL, Azure SQL, Azure Storage, Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, Cosmos DB, GitHub, Azure DevOps, CI/CD)
- Advanced ETL/ELT knowledge with tools like SSIS, Informatica, Kafka, Spark, MuleSoft
- Advanced database experience (SQL Server, Oracle, NoSQL)
- Advanced programming skills (Python, SQL, Scala)
