This role is within the hospitality industry, focusing on supporting and enhancing the company's data ecosystem. Data Engineer:
Responsible for supporting new and existing systems within the data ecosystem, ensuring data integrity and accessibility. Collaborate with data and business teams to understand project requirements and design effective solutions. Manage and support data pipelines, including ETL processes, using tools such as Talend, Glue, and Lambda. Work within cloud environments, primarily AWS, to maintain and optimize data platforms like RedShift, Snowflake, and CDW. Keep stakeholders informed on project progress, risks, and issues during implementation phases. Requirements for the Data Engineer:
Bachelor's Degree with 5+ years of work experience in Technology or a related field. 3+ years of hands-on experience in data quality, ETL, and maintenance processes. 3+ years of experience with Talend, Glue, and Lambda. 3+ years of experience with data platforms such as CDW, RedShift, and Snowflake.
