Our team utilizes systems and tools that manage every part of Kiewit's business and the project lifecycle to improve planning and day-to-day execution in the field. Responsibilities Deliver data engineering solutions that are efficient and scalable and meet the needs of our various stake holders.

Translate requirements into effective and impactful solutions that enable information sharing across the enterprise.

Design and develop using Python, SQL, Azure Platform, Azure Functions and Rest APIs. Effectively use code repositories, work with IT to get any new required infrastructure setup. Get a deep understanding of Kiewit's data platform.

Ability to take on technical tasks and research on making processes more efficient.

Stay current with new technologies and platforms.

Participate in code reviews.

Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or similar discipline. 4-7 years of successful data engineering experience is required.4-7 years of demonstrated experience using Python, Azure Platform, Azure Functions and Rest API Services.4-7 years writing
ANSI SQL
on Microsoft SQL server (both on prem and azure)Experience with Azure Data Factory and Informatica are preferred Strong track record of successfully executing complex projects and/or projects involving multiple disciplines.

Experience collaborating with senior managers to understand drivers of success and departmental goals.

Strong customer management skills; ability to manage more than one client.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills (oral and written)Proven ability to self-direct work efforts and lead othersStrong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skillsTeam player with the ability to work independently to meet deadlines, goals and objectivesStrong organization, time management, and attention to detail
