Database Engineer

Database Engineer Location - Iselin, NJ (Hybrid) Local W2 only Hiring a hands‐on Database Engineer to support high‐volume, low‐latency data platforms within the Enterprise Data Services (EDS) domain. This role will focus heavily on SQL Server development , database design, and data modelling. Key Responsibilities Develop, optimize, and maintain SQL Server databases supporting high‐volume, low‐latency applications. Design and implement data models, schemas, and database structures for scalable data systems. Lead and support data migration initiatives involving: Source systems → SQL Server Build and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines across hybrid data environments. Ensure data integrity, quality, and performance across large datasets. Collaborate closely with domain leads across Corp Security, Enterprise Resiliency, and other supply chain functions. Required Qualifications 5+ years of hands‐on experience as a Database Engineer or related role. Strong expertise in SQL Server , including development, performance tuning, and data modelling. Solid understanding of high‐volume, low‐latency data environments. Strong analytical, problem‐solving, and communication skills. Nice to Have Experience with cloud data platforms (GCP preferred). ETL/ELT tools experience. Exposure to supply chain, resiliency, or enterprise operations domains. Key skill sets non-negotiable are ( Data Modeling / Data Design (Physical SQL Modeling), QL Migration / ETL, API Patrioning, Schema Design, Slowly Changing Dimensions (Type 1 and Type 2),
