Job Description

Engenheiro de Dados - Analytics This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Engenheiro de Dados - Analytics based in Brazil. This is an opportunity to join a data-driven environment focused on building and evolving scalable data platforms that power analytics and business intelligence solutions. The role is centered on designing, maintaining, and optimizing data pipelines that support high-volume, multi-source data ecosystems. You will work closely with distributed systems and modern data tools to ensure reliable data flow and high performance. The position involves solving complex data challenges, improving data quality, and enabling actionable insights for business decision-making. It is a remote role within a collaborative and agile engineering culture. You will contribute directly to the evolution of a robust data ecosystem that supports strategic decisions across large-scale operations.
Accountabilities:
In this role, you will be responsible for strengthening and evolving data platforms that support analytics and business needs. Participate in the definition, design, and implementation of data platform architecture and solutions. Maintain and evolve existing data infrastructure, ensuring stability and scalability. Build and improve data ingestion, transformation, integration, and delivery pipelines. Troubleshoot and resolve production issues related to data pipelines, databases, and workflows. Optimize existing processes to improve performance, reliability, and data accuracy. Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical data solutions.
Requirements:
We are looking for professionals with strong technical foundations in data engineering and an analytical mindset. Solid experience with Git for version control. Hands-on experience with ETL tools and data pipeline frameworks (e.g., Databricks, Airbyte, or similar). Experience working in data engineering or data-intensive projects. Ability to troubleshoot issues by understanding functional/non-functional requirements and business rules. Experience handling multiple data formats (Parquet, JSON, CSV, TXT, relational databases, Delta tables). Basic knowledge of data modeling and multi-database management. Understanding of BI, Big Data, and analytics ecosystems. Familiarity with data integration, processing, and large-scale data storage concepts. Knowledge of relational and dimensional data modeling (Data Warehouse concepts). Exposure to messaging systems (e.g., RabbitMQ, Kafka). Adaptability to changing environments and requirements. Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Nice to have:
Experience with MageAI. Experience with Spark and DuckDB.
