Remote Seeking an experienced Senior Data Engineer to design, build, and optimize scalable data pipelines and data platforms on the Azure cloud ecosystem. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Azure Databricks, Python, and SQL, and will play a key role in building modern lakehouse architectures, enabling analytics, data science, and enterprise data integration. Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Azure Databricks, Python, and SQL.
• Build and manage data ingestion frameworks for structured and unstructured data from multiple enterprise systems.
• Implement data lakehouse architecture using Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS), Delta Lake, and Databricks.
• Optimize ETL/ELT workflows for performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Develop and manage data models (Bronze, Silver, Gold layers) to support analytics and reporting.
• Ensure data quality, governance, and security standards across the platform.
• Integrate data from various sources including ERP, APIs, SaaS applications, and relational databases.
• Collaborate with data architects, analysts, data scientists, and business stakeholders to deliver high quality data solutions.
• Implement CI/CD and DevOps practices for data pipelines and data platform deployments.
• Monitor and troubleshoot data pipeline performance and failures. Required Skills & Experience
• 6+ years of experience in data engineering or data platform development.
• Strong hands-on experience with Azure Databricks and Delta Lake.
• Advanced programming skills in Python (PySpark).
• Strong expertise in SQL for data transformation and performance optimization.
• Experience with Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS) and modern data lakehouse architecture.
• Experience with Azure Data Factory or other data integration tools.
• Knowledge of data modeling techniques (dimensional modeling, star schema).
• Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices.
