For our U.S. Medical Societies portfolio, we process and manage large volumes of sensitive healthcare related data, including patient, clinician, and visit information, delivered on a recurring and time critical basis. We are seeking a QA Engineer
- Data Engineering (Azure) to ensure the quality, accuracy, and reliability of our data platforms built on the Microsoft Azure ecosystem. This role is focused on validating complex data pipelines, transformations, and large scale data processing workflows that power critical healthcare data solutions. You will work closely with data engineers, analysts, and U.S
- based stakeholders to ensure data integrity across ingestion, transformation, and delivery layers.
Given the time sensitive nature of healthcare data processing, this role plays a key part in maintaining data quality standards and supporting stable, reliable data operations across environments. This is an excellent opportunity for a QA professional who enjoys working with data at scale, combining strong SQL validation skills with modern cloud-based data engineering technologies such as Azure Data Factory and Synapse. Key Responsibilities Data Quality & Validation Validate data pipelines and ETL processes built in Azure Data Factory (ADF) and Azure Synapse Perform data validation using SQL (row counts, joins, aggregations, data accuracy checks) Ensure data quality, completeness, and consistency across source and target systems Validate data models, schemas, and transformations in Azure SQL and Synapse Testing & Delivery Design and execute test cases for data ingestion, transformation, and loading workflows Conduct end-to-end testing of data pipelines (integration, regression, and UAT support) Test incremental and historical data loads, error handling, and pipeline dependencies Identify data defects, analyze root causes, and collaborate with engineers to resolve issues Automation & Continuous Improvement Build and maintain automated data testing frameworks Implement and support CI/CD quality checks for data pipelines Contribute to defining QA standards, best practices, and data validation strategies Collaboration & Stakeholder Management Work closely with U.S. stakeholders, product owners, and project managers Collaborate daily with distributed teams across the U.S., UK, and Poland Support reliable and timely delivery of business critical data products Here's what you'll need Strong experience in data testing / QA within data engineering environments Hands-on experience with SQL for data validation and analysis Experience testing ETL pipelines and data workflows Familiarity with Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, and Azure SQL Understanding of data quality concepts, validation techniques, and data integrity checks Experience with end-to-end testing, regression testing, and UAT support for data systems Exposure to CI/CD processes and test automation frameworks Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent English communication skills Nice to have Experience working with healthcare or regulated data (PII, sensitive datasets) Familiarity with data lake architectures and large-scale data platforms Experience working with distributed teams and U.S
