Job Description
Job Description Overview An upstream Oil & Gas company is seeking a Data Engineer to support their Real-Time Operations team, focused on the SCADA Data Mart (SDM) platform. This system ingests telemetry data from field devices and operations, consisting of ~98% time-series data and ~2% business data. This role will be 70% maintenance/support and 30% development, with a strong focus on ensuring platform stability, performance, and scalability. The team also has plans to modernize and re-architect the platform for future growth. This position is required to sit onsite 5 days / week in downtown Houston. Based on knowledge and years of experience, this position offers an hourly pay rate range of $50-65/hr.
