Job Description

Role Summary This position involves supporting data, reporting, and automation initiatives within an environmental data management function. The candidate will be responsible for developing scalable data pipelines, designing reporting solutions, and automating processes to improve data quality and efficiency. This role requires a technical, detail-oriented professional capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment to deliver impactful data solutions. Responsibilities Support automation and data workflows for environmental reporting projects. Design, develop, and maintain scalable database architectures and data pipelines. Develop and optimize SQL queries, views, and data models for reporting purposes. Build and maintain dashboards and data visualizations using tools such as Power BI or Spotfire. Implement data quality checks, validation, and reconciliation processes to ensure data integrity. Develop automation solutions utilizing tools like Power Automate, Copilot Studio, Python, or similar. Integrate data across multiple systems and platforms to facilitate comprehensive analysis. Document data processes, architectures, and standards for scalability and auditability. Provide hands-on technical support for automation and reporting projects prioritized by the team. Qualifications Strong expertise in database management, especially SQL; knowledge of cloud data platforms is a plus. Experience with reporting tools such as Power BI, Spotfire, or equivalent. Proven experience building automation solutions using Power Automate, Copilot Studio, Python, or similar tools. Knowledge of designing and supporting data integration and ETL pipelines. Experience working with both structured and semi-structured/unstructured datasets. Strong analytical skills and ability to perform root cause analysis. Ability to translate complex business requirements into effective technical solutions. Excellent documentation and communication skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a remote setting.
Publishing Pay Range:
$50.00 - $56.00 Hourly This position is based in office and requires employee to work on-site.
