Long-Term Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Lead Data Engineer with strong expertise in Databricks and Oracle ERP systems to lead the design, development, and optimization of enterprise-scale data solutions. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of modern data engineering practices, cloud-based data platforms, and ERP data integration. This role requires a combination of hands-on technical expertise, architectural leadership, and the ability to collaborate with business and technical stakeholders across the organization. Responsibilities Lead the design, development, and implementation of scalable data pipelines and data platforms using Databricks. Architect and optimize ETL/ELT processes for integrating data from Oracle ERP systems, including Oracle EBS and Oracle Fusion ERP. Design and maintain enterprise data models, data warehouses, and lakehouse architectures to support reporting, analytics, and business intelligence initiatives. Collaborate with Finance, Supply Chain, Procurement, and other business teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions. Ensure data quality, governance, security, and compliance standards are consistently maintained. Optimize Spark and SQL workloads to improve performance, scalability, and cost efficiency. Provide technical leadership and mentorship to data engineering team members. Partner with architects, analysts, and application teams to deliver reliable and scalable data solutions. Support data modernization and cloud transformation initiatives. Required Qualifications Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field. 13+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Data Warehousing, or related disciplines. 5+ years of hands-on experience with Databricks and Apache Spark. Strong expertise in PySpark, Spark SQL, and large-scale data processing frameworks. Experience working with Oracle ERP platforms, including Oracle EBS and/or Oracle Fusion ERP. Proven experience building and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines and enterprise data integration solutions. Strong SQL development, performance tuning, and data modeling skills. Experience with cloud platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure. Strong understanding of data governance, data quality, and security best practices. Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience with Azure Data Factory, Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, and Databricks Workflows. Knowledge of Oracle Financials, Supply Chain Management (SCM), Procurement, or Order Management modules. Experience with real-time data processing and streaming technologies. Prior experience leading enterprise data engineering initiatives and distributed teams. Work Authorization U.S. Citizens and s are encouraged to apply.
