Job Description

Job Description A prominent financial services and insurance organization seeks a Sr. Data Engineer to build and optimize high-volume data ingestion pipelines and backend data processing systems. This individual will sit within the Identity and Access Management (IAM) group and play a key part in integrating, transforming, and managing data across enterprise platforms.
Responsibilities include:
  • Design, build, and maintain data ingestion pipelines to bring high-volume data into enterprise database systems
  • Develop backend processing logic to support data validation, transformation, and integration
  • Integrate data across internal and external systems (e.g., CyberArk, SailPoint)
  • Optimize database performance through query tuning, indexing strategies, and efficient data modeling
  • -Manage and enhance complex, field-driven update logic within large datasets Collaborate with architects, engineers, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable data solutions
  • Participate in CI/CD workflows, code reviews, and version control (GitHub)

  • 5+ years of experience in software engineering or data engineering
  • Strong backend development experience with Java
  • Hands-on experience building and maintaining data pipelines / ingestion frameworks
  • Strong experience with database development, including performance optimization, query tuning, indexing strategies and data modeling
  • Experience handling complex data processing logic at scale
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and GitHub
  • Strong communication skills with ability to collaborate and influence across technical and business teams
  • Experience with SailPoint or CyberArk
