Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a Data Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable data solutions that support analytics and business operations. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in data modeling, ETL/ELT processes, and cloud-based data platforms, along with the ability to work collaboratively in Agile environments. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines and data processing solutions Develop and optimize SQL and PL/SQL queries for data extraction and transformation Work with relational and NoSQL databases to manage and process large datasets Implement and maintain ETL/ELT processes and data models Collaborate with cross-functional and global teams in an Agile environment Develop and maintain code using programming languages such as Python, Java, or Unix scripting Support DevOps and CI/CD processes using tools such as Git, Maven, Jenkins, or similar Work with cloud services to build scalable and reliable data solutions Monitor, validate, and troubleshoot issues across development, testing, and production environments Continuously evaluate and implement new technologies to improve data engineering capabilities Required Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field Strong experience with SQL and PL/SQL development and debugging Experience working with relational databases (e.g., Oracle, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., DynamoDB, Elasticsearch) Strong understanding of data modeling and ETL/ELT concepts and tools Experience with programming languages such as Python, Java, or Unix scripting Experience with DevOps and CI/CD tools such as Git, Maven, Jenkins, or similar Experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS (e.g., EC2, S3, Lambda, SNS, SQS) Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills Excellent communication skills and ability to work in distributed teams Preferred Qualifications AWS certifications (Associate, Professional, or Specialty) Experience with streaming or messaging technologies such as Kafka, Kinesis, SNS, or SQS Experience working in Agile environments and modern data platforms
