Senior Data Engineer

RESPONSIBILITIES

Kforce has a client in Westlake, TX that is seeking a Senior Data Engineer.

Responsibilities:

• Crafting, developing, and maintaining robust data pipelines
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to determine the best data solutions
• Ensuring data quality and integrity through rigorous testing and validation processes

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field with 5 - 8 years of working experience
• 3+ years of experience in data engineering, with exposure to data warehouse architecture
• Proficiency in SQL & Python
• Hand-on experience with AWS cloud platform (S3, Lamda, Glue, etc.) & Snowflake
• Experience with DevOps, CI/CD
• Experience in Agile methodologies
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to take initiative
• Work experience in the financial services industry is a plus
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role.

We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future. We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
