Job Description

Job Description We are seeking a consultant with a strong blend of telecom experience, AI solution expertise, and data analytics to join a transport engineering organization focused on improving network performance and resiliency. This individual will embed directly within the team to analyze network data, identify patterns behind outages, and drive real solutions that move the organization toward a goal of zero downtime. This is a hands-on, business-minded role. The ideal candidate will not just surface insights, but will take ownership of translating those insights into practical, implemented solutions within the team's environment. Key Responsibilities
  •  Analyze complex network data across platforms such as Power BI, Tableau, and Alteryx to identify trends related to performance, outages, and resiliency
  •  Investigate root causes of outages, including scope (single-site vs. multi-site), duration, frequency, and contributing factors
  •  Work through fragmented or incomplete datasets, including environments where data is owned across multiple external partners
  •  Partner with engineering teams to define key problem areas and prioritize 3-4 high-impact focus areas
  •  Translate findings into actionable solutions and drive implementation within existing workflows and tools
  •  Develop frameworks and models to proactively detect, prevent, and respond to network issues
  •  Act as a bridge between data, engineering, and business stakeholders to ensure insights drive measurable outcomes
  •  Continuously refine analysis and solutions based on real-time performance and business impact We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
We are an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer that believes everyone matters. Qualified candidates will receive consideration for employment regardless of their race, color, ethnicity, religion, sex (including pregnancy), sexual orientation, gender identity and expression, marital status, national origin, ancestry, genetic factors, age, disability, protected veteran status, military or uniformed service member status, or any other status or characteristic protected by applicable laws, regulations, and ordinances. If you need assistance and/or a reasonable accommodation due to a disability during the application or recruiting process, please send a request to HR@insightglobal.com.

  •  Telecom / network engineering experience, ideally within transport or infrastructure environments
  •  Strong background in AI, machine learning, or applied analytics (focused on solutioning vs. model development)
  •  Experience working with tools like Power BI, Tableau, and Alteryx
  •  Strong data acumen with the ability to assess data quality, identify gaps, and work effectively with incomplete or distributed datasets
  •  Ability to get into the weeds of the data while maintaining a business and operational perspective
  •  Experience translating data insights into tangible solutions that can be implemented within engineering teams
  •  Not a pure developer — someone who understands what "good" looks like in data and solutions, and can guide and drive execution
  •  Strong problem-solving skills focused on pattern recognition and root cause analysis
  •  Excellent communication and stakeholder alignment skills
