Team Introduction Data Platform-Data Architecture team focuses on building the next generation DBMS kernel aiming for the best-in-class query latency and hardware utilization. The team operates the distributed OLAP infrastructure powering cloud native data warehouse which is the foundation behind data-driven decision making within TikTok. As a senior software engineer in the data architecture team you will have the opportunity to build optimize and grow one of the largest data platforms in the world. You'll have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience on all kinds of systems in the data platform ecosystem. Your work will have a direct and huge impact on the company's core products as well as hundreds of millions of users.

• Design and implement reliable scalable robust and extensible big data systems that support core products and business
• Build the world-leading cloud native OLAP engine for PB level data sets
• Optimize and contribute to open source data frameworks Spark SQL Presto Clickhouse Doris Alluxio Velox etc.
• Responsible for architecting internal data warehouses and data lakes to support all business unites
• Creating innovative solutions toward system scalability reliability and availability problems
• BS or MS degree in Computer Science or related technical field or equivalent practical experience
• Familiar with commonly used algorithms data structures network programming and multi-threaded programming
• Experience with

OLAP/OLTP

database kernel optimization including storage / operator / optimizer / code generation etc
