Job Description

Parts Inventory Data Analyst We are seeking a data centric Inventory Optimization Analyst to lead the strategic reduction of on-hand stock and maximize capital efficiency. In this role, you will be the primary architect of our "Lean Inventory" initiative. Your focus will be leveraging data to identify surplus, streamlining the manufacturer return lifecycle, and managing e-commerce liquidation strategies. This is a role for an individual who views inventory as capital and is driven to keep it moving. This position will be traveling between all our locations across Northern California, throughout the week.
Strategic Responsibilities Inventory Reduction Modeling:
Analyze aging reports to identify "slow-moving" and "dead" stock; develop data-driven strategies to reduce total inventory carrying costs.
Manufacturer Return Management:
Oversee the return to OEM process. Monitor return windows, analyze rejection rates, and ensure maximum credit recovery from manufacturers.
E-commerce Liquidation Strategy:
Actively manage online marketplace listings (eBay, marketplace, etc) to liquidate obsolete parts. Use price trend analysis to ensure competitive positioning and rapid stock turnover.
Deficit & Surplus Analysis:
Support demand planning by identifying "over-provisioned" categories and adjusting procurement logic to prevent future overstock.
Qualifications Data Proficiency:
Advanced skills in spreadsheets (Excel/Sheets) to perform analysis between current stock levels and actual service demand.
Marketplace Analytics:
Experience navigating e-commerce platforms and using data to optimize listing visibility and sell through rates.
Process Optimization:
Ability to build a structured workflow for identifying, pulling, and shipping returns within strict manufacturer timelines.
Detail Orientation:
High precision in tracking credits, shipping manifests, and digital transactions to ensure no capital is lost in the supply chain.
Pay:
$22.00 - $24.00 per hour
