This role will serve as a key liaison between internal teams, partner agencies, and the HMIS platform to ensure accurate and timely data reporting in alignment with HUD requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Act as the primary technical liaison between HMIS users, partner agencies, and the system vendor Provide ongoing support to ensure data integrity, completeness, and timely entry into HMIS Perform detailed data validation and quality assurance across multiple programs and datasets Analyze trends and generate reports to support program performance and decision-making Assist with system administration tasks including user setup, program configuration, and feature rollouts Troubleshoot system issues, test updates/patches, and support continuous system improvements Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather reporting requirements and develop dashboards Provide training and technical support to internal staff and partner agencies Maintain knowledge of HUD data standards and ensure compliance with reporting requirements Support process improvement initiatives and recommend efficiencies, including automation where possible
Qualifications:
2-5+ years of experience in data analysis, HMIS, or nonprofit program reporting Experience working within HMIS or similar case management/data systems strongly preferred Working knowledge of HUD data standards and reporting requirements is a plus Intermediate to advanced proficiency in SQL/MySQL Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Looker, or similar) preferred Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills Excellent communication skills with the ability to present technical concepts to non-technical users Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office Suite Beacon Hill is an equal opportunity employer and individuals with disabilities and/or protected veterans are encouraged to apply.
