Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Data Analyst to join our team in Modesto, California, within the healthcare industry. This Contract to permanent position offers an exciting opportunity to analyze data from various sources, ensure compliance with regulations, and contribute to the improvement of organizational outcomes. Ideal candidates will possess strong analytical abilities and a passion for transforming data into actionable insights.
Responsibilities:
  • Interpret and apply federal, state, and local laws, regulations, and policies to ensure compliance and recommend changes based on performance metrics.
  • Research and analyze program data and business processes, collaborating with IT teams to develop automated solutions.
  • Provide training and technical assistance to staff on data usage, reporting, and dashboards to enhance outcomes.
  • Compile and analyze data from sources such as Electronic Health Records, databases, and spreadsheets to produce insightful reports and identify trends.
  • Conduct surveys, statistical analyses, and research on services and program performance, presenting findings effectively.
  • Utilize auditing and monitoring procedures to ensure compliance with regulations and track findings from external audits.
  • Identify training needs based on audit trends and ensure follow-up actions are completed and reported appropriately.
  • Investigate and report suspected instances of fraud, waste, abuse, and privacy breaches to governing bodies.
  • Perform data quality checks, eliminate errors, and draft reports for stakeholders that explain findings in detail.
  • Manage multiple deadlines by scheduling meetings, recording minutes, and following up on action items.
