Job Description:
Data Analysts synthesize healthcare, claims, and financial data to improve patient outcomes and optimize operational efficiency. Key responsibilities include extracting, cleaning, and modeling data using tools like SQL, Python, and Tableau/Power BI to deliver actionable, data-driven insights to clinical and business stakeholders.
Core Responsibilities Data Preparation:
Clean, merge, and organize large datasets (clinical, claims, and pharmacy data) while ensuring absolute accuracy and compliance with healthcare regulations.
Analytical Modeling:
Build descriptive, correlational, and predictive statistical models to support business decisions.
Visualization & Reporting:
Translate complex data into compelling, easy-to-understand reports and presentations for stakeholders.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Partner with clinical professionals and business leaders to identify metrics, translate requirements, and assess the impact of business solutions.
Typical Qualifications Experience:
1-5+ years in data analysis, reporting, or business intelligence, often with exposure to the healthcare or insurance industry.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in SQL and data visualization platforms (Tableau or Power BI). Advanced roles may require Python, R, or SAS.
