Duties:
The Data Analyst at Amphastar Pharmaceuticals, Inc in Rancho Cucamonga, CA will analyze clinical trial experiment data and targeted results by applying statistical theory to determine data analysis methodologies, develop statistical sections of protocols, and strategize statistical analysis plans (SAP). Compile preliminary clinical trial raw data and utilize Statistical Analysis System (SAS) program to implement SAP, analyze and interpret data. Produce clinical, pharmacokinetic, and statistics reports for reviews in areas covering trends, validity of effectiveness of drug formulas against targeted treatments, and data reliability and validity. Validate data and values by following statistical quality control models and formulating check system with SAS. Create, modify, and excite SAS program interface to generate Statistical Analysis Report (SAR) for review. Prepare reports in statistical section of technical documents and clinical studies. Follow assignments to formulate and implement SAS test programs and documentation for test codes and programs. Investigate and report coding and programs errors and suggest modifications for corrective action reviews. Participate in drafting preliminary documentation to be submitted to Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for registration.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Statistics, or a related field. Must have data analysis skills and skills with each of the following: 1) analyzing clinical trial data; 2) Statistical Programming (SAS); 3) Excel for data validation, pivot tables, formulas, charts, and data analysis related to clinical or healthcare data; 4) data validation and quality assurance; 5) working under FDA guidelines for clinical data documentation and reporting; 6) working with or interpreting SAPs to guide analysis decisions; and 7) collaborating with clinical operations and regulatory personnel in a healthcare or life sciences setting. Duties:
The Financial Reporting and Budgeting Analyst at Amphastar Pharmaceuticals, Inc. in Rancho Cucamonga, CA, will be responsible for documentation of internal control processes and preparation of tax compliance reporting. Assist in the financial reporting process for the preparation of required quarterly and annual SEC filings, including 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K and earning releases. Prepare monthly P&L expense reports to submit to management. Support monthly close by preparing share-based compensation expense analyses and share-based compensation reports and reconciliations. Provide quarterly and ad-hoc reports for tax and external financial reporting as it relates to equity-based reporting. Prepare and maintain procedural documents for all equity reporting, including SOX controls and audit documentation. Assist with internal and external auditors as well as the finance team on quarterly reviews and year-end audits as needed. Work closely with the System Controls group, HR, accounting, Tax, and other teams, as necessary. Assist with special projects and ad-hoc analysis as needed. Assist in the preparation of annual budgets, five-year forecast and monthly variance reports. Assist with the implementation of the new ERP system specifically as it relates to data migration, ensuring all data from the legacy system is compiled, analyzed, and prepared for transfer in to the new system.
Minimum Requirements:
Requires a Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Data Analytics, or a related field plus 2 years of professional experience as a Financial Reporting and Budgeting Analyst, Financial Reporting Associate or related occupation. Experience must include 2 years of experience with data analytics tools, US GAAP accounting standards and share-based compensation. Must have 2 years of experience with each of the following: 1) Financial Reporting including preparation of SEC filings and reconciliation; 2) Accounting for equity-based compensation; 3) GAAP and IFRS Compliance including standards and reporting practices; 4) Creating financial forecasts and budgets; 5) Tax and equity-based financial reporting; 6) Conducting quantitative variance analysis to support informed financial decision-making; 7) Data Analytics Tools including advanced Excel skills for financial reporting and analysis, SAS, SQL, and Excel VBA; 8) SOX Compliance including controls and documentation. Generate and reconstruct 3D models from CT or MRI imaging data, perform advanced quantitative modeling analysis and prepare research reports. Provide scientific quantitative support for device and product design to support early-stage product development. Construct and design device constituent components with CAD modeling (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, SpaceClaim). Analyze experimental data generated from analytical chemistry platforms, evaluate data quality and reliability to support product development. Engage in technical research and feasibility assessments for pipeline products, assessing manufacturing process capability and provide solution to improve as needed. Prepare status updates, progress reports, as well as technical and research reports by gathering, analyzing, and summarizing relevant information collected from multiple open and private-access databases, perform data analysis using statistical approaches and generate high-impact visualizations to inform strategic decision-making. Engage with cross-functional internal and external teams to troubleshoot technical challenges for medical devices and pharmaceutical products, ensuring robust design, regulatory compliance, and smooth transition from development to mass production. Coordinate with cross-discipline team members to make sure all parties are on track with development agreement, project requirements, actions, deadlines, and schedule.
Minimum Requirements:
Master's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biomedical Engineering, Bioengineering or a related field and 2 years of professional experience as a Pipeline Product Development Specialist, Pipeline Project Manager, Graduate Assistant or related occupation. Experience must include 2 years of professional research experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, biomedical, and medical device industry. Must have 2 years of experience with computational simulation, synthetic materials or chemical research. Must have 1 year of experience with each of the following: 1) 3D model generation from imaging data (CT, MRI, or laser scan data) to prepare models for quantitative research using Mimics, Amira, 3D Slicer or OsiriX; 2) 3D CAD modeling using SolidWorks, AutoCAD or SpaceClaim; and 3) programming to support software control and high performance simulation in early-stage product development (C, C++, C#, or Fortran). Minimum Requirements:
Requires a Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Health Services Management, or related field and 3 years of experience as a Stock Office Administrator, Business Manager, Project Manager, or related occupation. Must include 3 years of financial project experience in the healthcare industry.
